In 2014, hundreds of companies competed for the UK’s Great Tech Award.

On December 09, 2014, Prince William, His Royal Highness, the Duke of Cambridge and New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio, presented the award to Critical Mention’s CEO Sean Morgan.

This prestigious award, presented on behalf of UK Trade & Investment, encourages the best overseas companies to look to the UK as their global partner of choice. As an existing partner in the UK with the leading public relations platforms and more than a hundred TV and radio stations, Critical Mention won.

Critical Mention is unique. As the only PR, marketing or big data provider to receive an award, Critical Mention has invested in a global capture infrastructure that includes the largest network of broadcast (TV & Radio) content partners and online data providers, to seamlessly deliver global news into business applications. Our acceptance of this prestigious award extends our pledge of augmenting the global delivery of news data — to news producers, information providers, and enterprises.

Critical Mention provides tools to search, watch video, edit, and analyze information from around the world. Television and radio data (meta augmentation, audience data, ad equivalency, entity mark up, and sentiment) immediately syncs with 2,000 global broadcast sources to add 40 hours of viewable content every 60 seconds for integration of the world’s most persuasive medium: television. We also provide online sources.

Here’s a video that showcases our technology — and company culture:

Cheers.
