Account Executive (Sales)
Job Summary:
Generates revenue and meets sales goals by selling Critical Mentions' products and services (both over the phone and in person). Knows how to quickly establish credibility, create enthusiasm and instill a sense of urgency into the deal. Overcomes objections and closes the deal! Generates leads or takes warm leads from marketing campaigns and converts them into sales.
Job Requirements:
- 1-5+ years of cold calling and out-bound sales experience, preferably selling web applications or B2B technology or products and services to Public Relations and Corporate Communications professionals
- Hard working, tenacious and fearless individual who wants the intensity of a start-up environment
- Effective at selling using online demos
- Does what it takes to meet monthly quota (e.g. "Why would I leave at 6:00 pm when I can call prospects on the West coast?")

Account Manager
Job Summary:
Generates, protects and grows revenue by maintaining and expanding opportunities from within existing subscription accounts. Owns the customer relationship and ensures customer satisfaction and retention through fulfillment of orders, delivery of training, and understanding individual user requirements. Assists in the customization of user preferences by building and maintaining alert filters.
Job Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of direct customer contact with experience growing revenue from an existing customer base
- Ability to meet a quota, to "smell the money" that might not be readily apparent, and close incremental revenue deals
- Track record of building productive working relationships that solidify renewal deals and timely alerts to Sales Reps for upsell opportunities
- Must be an expert users of MS Outlook, MS Word and Excel
- Must be a web surfing guru who knows or can master Boolean search expressions
- Organized individual who can a handle high-volume of alert emails, and track and distribute relevant, breaking news stories
- Knowledge of the PR or Corporate Communications industry a plus
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Does what it takes to meet monthly quota (e.g. "Why would I leave at 6:00 pm when I can call clients on the West coast?")

Internet Application Programmer
Job Summary:
Develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for Internet rich-media applications according to design specifications.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must be familiar with OO coding methodologies, very comfortable working in the LINUX environment, ability to work closely with others, manage his/her own timelines and project deadlines, and be willing/able to learn new things
- Must have Java, ASP, .NET, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and CVS
- Ideal candidate will have experience using most of the following technologies: JAVA using Eclipse, AJAX, SOAP, and working knowledge of MVC frameworks
- A strong sense of graphic design is a plus
- B.S., B.E. in computer science or related field from an accredited university preferred
- Knows the commitment and hours required in a start-up, especially when product launch dates approach
