uta's basketball team -- this is significant -- you know, texas hall has always been the host of the uta maverick basketball team. if you've ever been in texas hall you realize that's actually a theater. and they played their basketball games up on the stage. >> i didn't know that. >> jody: they played their games up on the stage and so there was always that moment in the game where you wondered if an out of bounds ball was going to go into the audience because that's where the fans sat. >> okay. >> jody: well, they're just about done with their brand new athletic complex at uta. that will host all kinds of indoor sports including basketball. beginning on january 21st. >> all right. >> jody: so a long time tradition for uta mavericks basketball and the wheelchair mavericks basketball team will also play there will actually get a real basketball venue -- >> i can't imagine watching a game when you're in a theater. >> jody: that's craziest thing but after all these years 40 years i guess, 35 years of playing in that venue, they're going the get a expel -- to get a real basketball court. >> players taking bows. >> bravo. bravo. >> jody: you know, they don't look at their coach for the play, they look at the orchestra conductor. >> they look at the stage manager. >> jody: yeah, the stage manager. >> stage left. stage left. >> stage left! >> jody: the team isn't introduced. they come out from behind the curtain. >> at the end they all join hands and bow. >> jody: yes. exactly.
