immigration reform today. they're part of a growing national movement of
faith calling on the government to take the lead. fox 4's kathy quinn joins us live from 24th &; grand with more on the message. this is one of about a hundred prayer vigils being held today by local church and
faith leaders. their message is for the new administration. they're praying for the president and the congress to show moral courage with the issue of

wake forest holds its state of the town address and dinner tonight. the event happens at the forks cafeteria. mayor vivian jones will address past accomplishments-- including bus service to raleigh and constructi on the new town hall. jones is also expected to talk about future goals for the town. the so-called bullet bill is up for discussion tonight in the bull city. a community activist wants to restrict the sale of ammunition. however, this would require a change in state law. city council members are split on whether to ask lawmakers for a bill dealing with ammo. some say they support the concept -- but not necessarily this proposal. a new safety committee will report to enloe high school's parent- teacher-student association today. the group was formed after recent crimes at the raleigh school. school leaders say crime numbers at enloe high are relatively low. the principal has said police would increase patrols around the school and security staff would extend their hours. the meeting starts at six tonight at enloe. a push for
