### supporters of mayoral control of schools rally in queens. led by the reverend floyd flake, they came together at the greater allen a.m.e. cathedral in jamaica. critics of the program say parents aren't being heard, and mayor bloomberg has too much control. but proponents of mayoral control say the old system didn't work and there's no reason to change what does. "my kids have done well, but i was there with them fighting for the school system to change, to fix itself and it wasn't it to go back to.// i talk to parents everyday. we've seen our schools get safer and better funded." mayoral control expires at the end of june. it's up to state lawmakers whether to extend the law. if they don't, the school system will return to the old board of education system. federal judicial experience than any judge in a hundred years. and what has been clear throughout her judicial experience is that she puts rule of law first. and as long as you put rule of law first, of course, it's quite natural to understand that our experiences affect us. i don't think anybody wants nine justices on the supreme court who have ice water in their veins. but you nominee's qualifications. i think her life story is absolutely impressive. >> let's move on.
