goldman. he joins us now live from las vegas to talk about some of the cool stuff he's found and to talk about a new documentary called planet of the apps. hey, jim. good to see you. >> hey, good evening to you. yes, such cool stuff. 2500 companies, let me tell you -- this is the dash from sony, an internet -- [ stand by -- audio difficulty ] >> reporter: through a wireless connection you can upload all kinds of digital media, entertainment, music, a thousand apps. $200 available coming this april and this is generating a lot of buzz. a cool little snooze button on the top if all of the multimedia on the screen starts to bother you. also from sony is this, the bloggy, a family of new little hd cameras. unlike the flick video camera you may be familiar with this one actually shoots in true 1080 hd. a couple hundred dollars from sony. this is available right now. let me show you these. e-readers are all the rage. we've talked about the kindle and the e-reader from sony. this big one is $250. these littler ones with all the cool colors under $200. these are available. i want to show you this also. this is a helmet right here. looks like a regular old helmet but on the back is this little deal here from a company for snowboarders and bicyclists. you put this on your head. no ear buzz. plug it into your mp 3 player and it sends vibrations through your skull. that's how you listen to the music. >> all right. jim
