Avention Taps Critical Mention to Enable Real-Time TV Search, Alert and Viewing for its 600,000 Analyst, Sales Professionals Subscribers

SAN FRANCISCO–()–Avention, Inc., a leader in transformative sales and marketing enablement and business information solutions, announced today it will integrate the Critical Mention API to so users can search live TV and radio, view or listen to content, edit segments and share them with key contacts instantly.

The deal was announced at Salesforce Dreamforce in San Francisco. The project is slated for release as a pilot in January.

Through the Critical Mention API, Avention subscribers will be alerted in near-realtime when the companies or contacts they are monitoring are included in broadcast news reports. Text transcripts are available instantly, and video and audio can be played, edited and shared with internal workgroups, customers or prospects.
